St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is a group of over 200 friends and family that welcome you to worship and celebrate our Lord, Jesus Christ.The church in found on North Main Street in Atkinson, Nebraska right across the city park in the north central part of town. The church celebrated its 100th year and looks forward to the next century of evangelism and service.

In 2002, the church joined St. Peter Lutheran of Bassett to call Pastor Nancy Nyland to serve both churches.This association has been a blessing as both churches now have new brothers and sisters in Christ that we didn’t know before.
